SHE DID IT!!
We came home from shopping this evening and I decided to change Mariska into her P.Js downstairs, and that I'd have her sit on her potty for a little bit since she was going to have her diaper off anyway... we sat her on it and let her watch "Word World" with a drink of water. I kept saying that she can try and go "pee-pee". After she sat for about 5-10 minutes I heard a little noise!!! She tinkled! She got up and I showed it to her. Then Brent came in with more groceries and we told him all about it, so we had a really big "verbal praise party" with clapping and "horrays!". She was very proud of herself and we went and put her pee in the big potty and waved goodbye to it as it flushed. I hope she can pick up on knowing when to go sit on her potty soon!! I am very ready to not buy diapers anymore! We've also ordered her an Elmo's Potty Time video to get her even more excited! It was so fun to see the pride in her eyes!!

Yay! isnt that so exciting! Congratulations! I hope she takes to it quickly. Savannah kinda goes in and out of phases. Were not really pushing her because she is so young.

We have been in diapers CONSTANTLY for the last (in two months) 11 years!!!

Awesome! How exciting. Yah I hear ya have to have a "Potty Party" so they'll be motivated to "do it" again & again.
Sad, but I hear it'll be a while for Nate Jr. I hear you shouldn't even try until they're 3yrs old. Boys just function different I guess.
