Hi everyone!
We had so much fun seeing all of you and hope all your holidays were great! I'm working on getting a post finished with pictures of our Christmas, but I just wanted to add this before I did...
This morning I was watching the Today Show while having my bowl of Multi grain Cheerios and they had a segment on the new issue of People Magazine that will be out on Friday, called "Half Their Size". It's an issue about people who have lost 1/2 their body weight on diet and exercise...
One woman seriously almost made me cry, she had 5 kids and was topping 300 pounds and a size 24... now she is 150 pounds and a size 6. She told about how she had recently gone to her 15 year reunion and so many people mentioned that she was smaller then she was in high school, and she said that she actually was!!
She made me feel so great! People need to get rid of the idea that if you have kids or age in any way that you can't lose weight to be the size you were when you were younger! Not that it's easy, but it CAN be done!!
I just wanted to share, because this segment of the show meant a lot to me... I'm now down about 22 pounds!! Christmas somewhat "ruined" me when it comes to my work out routine and not craving the junk... but that part of the show was just what I needed to get back on track!

Thats awesome! Keep up the good work. You look wonderful the way you are too! I know I get into the mind set of "I never have Time to exercise with ONE kid." But I've got my work out DVD's opened again & I can "quietly" exercise during Nathan's Nap time. I hate having to give up my free time during his naps, but hopefully it'll pay off. (I haven't figured our exactly how many calories I eat per day.)
Anyhoot we loved seeing you guys too! Its sad you're gone now. But I bet you like the warmer weather huh? Hopefully we'll see you again soon! Thanx for the "inspirational" post!
22 lbs - way to go! You may be interested in a post on another friend's blog. She wrote something awesome about her own mother's struggle with weight loss and thyroid problems. Check it out: http://comptron.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
I believe the post is called "A Li'l Tribute"
I still think you look as good as ever.
Don't forget that the new Biggest Loser started up already.
I am so proud of you. You are soooo much stronger than I am.
After I finish off the new batch of peanut butter fudge that I am making tomorrow, I will start cycling again. I doubt I'll be as successful as you have been, but I am looking to you to keep me on my toes...no pressure, right?
