I hate lima beans! And I'm still getting used to the veggies with no butter... but I do PREFER brown rice/breads/pastas to the enriched junk... If I told you that would be the case a year ago I'd laugh. You really can train your own tastes.
Whole wheat pastas have to cook a lot longer than the enriched stuff... once it's cooked enough, and you have sauce, there is almost no difference. But most peoplple think it's grainy and terrible and refused to eat it, simply because they aren't cooking it long enough.
I went on this whole wheat pasta kick last year and bought a ton. I cooked it PLENTY long and tried different brands with different sauces. They all SUCKED! I don't care to ever eat it again. Nothing covers up the cardboard taste. Yuck.
I hated the whole wheat pasta at first, but now it's good to me... The little tree thing is really what got her to LIKE to eat it, up until then she would nibble at it, it's so funny how much "mental" goes into kids liking foods.

Blah, blah, blah....
Just kidding, 3 of my four boys love broccoli and even lima beans.
And yes, the one who doesn't is Scotty.

She is too cute!
Amazingly Cambree likes broccoli. I actually prefer brown rice and sometimes bread as well, but the pasta I'm still getting used to.
Broccoli's my favorite! I think it gives Isaac gas - yet another bonus!

Awwww. I'll have to use that "little tree" coaxing when Nathy is old enough to understand.
