So since today is the day of Halloween, AND Sunday, we're going to be staying in. The night will be spent carving the pumpkin, making caramel popcorn, watching "It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" and passing candy to the heathens that break the Sabbath, or rather "Trick or Treaters". I'm kidding, we were actually planning on going ahead with the traditional Halloween night and take the girls around the neighborhood. But we decided this would be a good lesson on keeping the Sabbath holy and it will be followed up by a FHE lesson on this same subject tomorrow night.
Anyway, so here are the pictures of our fun!

Cute costumes (is Mariska's hair green??). Those cookies look delicious, but I'd probably have heartburn for a week after eating one! I had this idea to make a regular chocolate chip cookie dough and fill mix in all manner of chopped up Halloween candies (the chocolate kinds only), but Isaac sadly didn't bring in a good enough haul for that. I guess I'll just have to go to Target for the after-Halloween sales... :)
They look so cute! I am glad you stayed in for Sunday - good for you guys!
Those cookies look good, but I am too tired to go to the effort. Halloween wiped me out this year - and we didn't go all out like last year, either!
Yes, Mariska's hair was a bit green. While it was all fun, I'm so relieved Halloween is over!! I'm eager for the New Year. Don't get me wrong, I'm SUPER excited for Christmas. But I'm excited to get to a time period when there isn't EVERY excuse in the book to have desserts and candy around!! Speaking of which, I'm dying to grab a McRib later tonight.... I know they are a sin against nature, but I heard they are back and they've been calling my name since!! I'm so weak!!
Cute pictures!! Did you and Brent dress up? I did a little but Chris refused:) Those cookies look EVIL!! I have to stop eating sweets, it's so hard!
