Okay, here I go again. I'm sick of making goals, not reaching them and starting all over again... but it's better than just giving up forever right? Besides, if losing weight were easy we wouldn't be the heaviest country on Earth or have shows like The Biggest Loser. I've been really procrastinating and thinking that I'll just restart all of my efforts at New Year's. But I need to stop making excuses and being lazy.
My awesome sister-in-law got down to business after having her latest baby and lost over 45 pounds! Well her baby is only about 3 months older than Brynley and I have yet to lose anything! And she looks incredible!! So I know it CAN be done.
So, from this coming Sunday to July 4th I have exactly 30 weeks. My goal is to lose just over a pound a week for a total loss of 34 pounds. Right now my BMI (body mass index) is 31.3, anything over 30 is considered obese! I hate that! But I also have a "solid frame", so I'm happy being on the higher end of "normal". Anything under 25 is considered normal weight for my height. Reaching this goal would make my BMI 25.8, which is way awesome sounding.
Well, that's my goal. I especially hope to wear a bunch of new clothes that have yet to fit me on our trip to Utah this March!
