Of course we're having Mariska's birthday party while we're in Utah, but we still celebrated yesterday! She had a great day. At church they brought her into primary to sing the happy birthday song to her, she was having a great time walking around the room, until the
chorister held her up at the front and the whole room started singing, then she just burst out crying... it was pretty funny actually. Then it was home for a late nap and then when she woke up she came down to her new kitchen! We didn't get pictures of her with her cake, she was pretty afraid of the candles after she couldn't blow them out. But she had the greatest day! She was so happy after we put her to bed we heard her just cracking up for about 20 minutes! Sorry the videos are so dark, our house is like a cave.

Mariska is doing? She'll put her hand to her neck and make the monkey sounds(like M does in the video) to let me know she has to check in with Mariska! Then we watch all her videos. Its kinda funny that my daughter learned monkey from Mariska, and they've never met! Happy Birthday Mariska! We love your Kitchen! And Jambalaya Sounds good, perhaps well make it for dinner!

Thanks Casey! Our digital camera takes video too, it's not as good of a quality as our video camera, obviously but we have a 512MB memory card that we use for the videos and we just stick that into our computer and add the videos to the blog just like any other picture...
Looks like so much fun for her. I wish I could hear her crack up while in her crib. That is the funniest thing. People have told me you say she "plays" to sleep & plays when she wakes up! That is so KOOL. Guess what? Nate Jr. has started to PLAY when he wakes up...and he doesn't cry anymore when we put him in his crib to go to sleep!!! Its amazing!!! Thats why I (the mother of a baby like Nate) think it is ESPECIALLY Hilarious that she "plays" & even cracked up while in her crib. ITS SO DANG ADORABLE! I am jealous, but I still love Nate Jr. & special little personality.
So anyway, sorry for the loooong comment.
(btw) I love all the wedding pictures on your slideshow!...maybe I just didn't notice them 'til now, but they're beautiful!
