Mariska had a good time at the zoo today! She especially liked all the different monkeys and the lion that we got to see and hear roar a bunch! The picture of this monkey was neat to us because he was really active and swinging around all over the place.

Thats good you guys took her to the zoo. Brooke is always asking me to go to the zoo with her but I personally don't care for it. I don't see the point of watching animals in a cage, however, most kids love seeing all the different animals.
The zoo is always a good time. (Except in Phoenix during the months of April through September!) It's gotta be one of those outings that's actually MORE fun with a toddler. How nice for you that the weather wasn't bad! (You didn't even need jackets!)

The zoo is fun enough, but the picture of Mariska & Brent is so sweet.
It was so hot!! It was in the 80's and we were sweating a bunch. Mariska had a really good time, although she was a bit taken back and scared at the size of the elephants.
The 80s! That's just wrong. When is it supposed to cool off there?
We have a cold front today, it's in the 60's... it's been going back and forth for about a month and a half... I don't like it so cold that 3 feet of snow won't melt for 3 months, but this is just wrong.
She's adorable in her pig tales. Looks like its still warm down there?
