Hey There,
I just had to share this, because it was so sweet! Sunday morning, I REALLY hurt my lower back. I bent over to pick something up and BAM, I can't move. So I make it to the bed and start screaming for Brent to come help me... as he and Mariska come into the room I can't help but start bawling, out of pain and frustration. So I'm sitting there crying and Brent is digging through the closet for our rice bag to heat in the microwave, Mariska notices my tears and says, "Tissue", or more like "dizshew"... she takes off and comes running back with a wad of toilet paper, pulls off a few small pieces and hand them to me over and over. What a sweet helper, right? It was just too cute.
Luckily that night we had a visit from a couple in our ward and he and Brent were able to give me a blessing. I was blessed to be able to sleep and I'm still hurting pretty good today, but I can move well enough to take care of Mariska.

How cute! What a sweet little girl!
I am sorry to hear about your back, but if it had not happened, you would not know how loving and compassionate Mariska is. It reminds me of when you gave Amber your baby blanket after Amber broke her leg. We miss all of you so much. We have snow on the higher elevations after this weekend's cool front and rain. Love, Dad
I know how that feels...did the same thing a couple months ago. Something that made my back feel better was to lay on the floor with my behind right up against the couch and then you prop your legs up on the couch...make sense? It relieved a lot of the pain.
I know what you mean amy... something similar helped quite a bit... although I think the thing that will help the most is the 12 inch Tempsoma memory foam matress we just bought!!!
And Dad, I do need those experiences to remind me of how sweet she can be, mostly I could just focus on the bloody scratch I have down my chin from her tantrum!! We are truly blessed to have her though!
Now you have to explain the bloody tantrum scratch.
